Deals

The following will be an on-going list of the best deals in town:

 *  Waffle House - There is a $5.00 menu that includes a drink, so that means the food is basically $3.00. As an example, for breakfast you can get two eggs, double hash browns, toast or biscuit and coffee for $5.00. There are many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All low cost

* Zorbas on Washington - First... BEST food in town! Everything they make. Especially, the subs and hamburgers. Great quantities to go along with the quality. Try the cup salad. Not quite a cup. A very large plate. In fact, you will need a side plate for the overflow. Lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, pickles, shredded cheese, crackers, choice of dressing. $4.00...including tax, so actually $3.50. I believe it's the best price for the most anywhere around

* Hall's Chophouse (Happy Hour) - A pricey but excellent restaurant, their happy hour is fantastic. In the bar...No cover charge. Half price drinks. Free nut, cheese and pickle trays. Free live entertainment. A very reasonable happy hour bar menu that is a fraction of the prices on the regular menu. Delicious food. Big city feel. A treat that doesn't need to be just on special occasions. Treat yourself

* Chick fil - A - Senior Coffee, 60+ - FREE!

* Great Clips - They have a haircut sale 2-3 times a year. $5.99. Good for Men OR Women. Regular price is $10 - $12, though coupons are always out there for $8 - $9. A good value becomes a great deal several times a year (Note: I am a regular, as are many Men, but seems that most Women, including my wife, are hesitant since it is not a "salon"). I'm able to ... Walk in. Sit down. Close my eyes. Walk out 10 minutes later. Fast and cheap. Why pay 10 times more and take up hours instead of minutes?

* Tony's Pizza on Haywood - Great lunch special. Large slice with one topping (my #7 pizza, so pretty great pizza). Large Greek salad chocked full. Drink. $5.95

* vittl.co - Maybe the best deal of all. FREE! Can't get better than that. A free app that gives you free food and drink all around town. No catches. Not BOGO. FREE. Download and use. You will be amazed

* Breakfast at Stax Epicurean - not the cheapest, but not expensive. Full breakfasts from $5.95. A great deal because, for the money, you have arguably the best off-the-menu breakfast in Greenville. Good quality. Good quantity. Good atmosphere. Good service. A good deal place

• QT - Lowest prices for gas. Cleanest stores. Best service. But the real deal are their hot dogs and ice cream. My favorite hot dog in town for $1.49 (2 for $2.49). Big. Juicy. All beef. Steamed buns. Great Free toppings. The ice creamy smooth vanilla swirl large cone is $.79. Better than anywhere else for a lot less

• Costco - I was told a long time ago to never pay to become a member of a shopping"club" like Sam's or Costco. However, did you know you can shop at Costco pharmacy without being a member? Lowest prices in town. Also, you can eat at Costco without being a member. Hot Dog and Coke for $1.50. And, before you buy that Hot Dog and Coke, first drop off your prescription and tell them to take their time filling it. Then, walk around the store and sample the dozens of free treats. Then pick up your prescription and save that $1.50 because you will be full of free goodness

• Our Festivals - Almost all are FREE admission and ALL are great

More to come
